On April 7th, 2022, the Town Board of Star Lake Township adopted a resolution to establish a subordinate service district (SSD) for the portion of 380th Street proceeding east from County Highway 41 to its termination point in Section 12, Township 135 North, Range 41 West. The purpose is to provide an annual application of a dust control agent and to perform those maintenance activities as is normal for such an application. The costs will be paid by levying a service charge equally on each of the qualifying properties within this district. That charge will appear on each property’s county tax bill as DUST CON. In 2023 the amount will be $169.49
